David graduated with his Bachelor of Science (Hons) in 1997 before going on to complete a Bachelor of Optometry from the University of Melbourne in 1999. Born and raised in Melbourne he proceeded to move to Darwin to begin his optometry career. This opened up opportunities to work throughout the Northern Territory and the rest of Australia as well as volunteer trips to East Timor. He and his wife, Tereza, bought the practice in 2007. He is interested in all aspects of optometry.
After hours he enjoys spending time with his three young children. He is a news junkie and enjoys keeping fit at the gym.
Emilia has been greeting patients with a smiling face for 15 years. She manages all administrative roles without breaking a sweat (unless the computer breaks down) and is a keen Essendon supporter.
After hours she enjoys spending time with her family and cats and is impatiently waiting for her first grandchild
Dr Tereza Antonios
Tereza completed her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2000. Originally from the Big Apple, she returned after graduating and practised for a number of years in upstate New York. She moved to Australia in 2004 after getting married. She and her husband, David, bought the practice in 2007. She is interested in all aspects of optometry, in particular ocular disease and contact lenses.
When not working she is busily trying to keep up with her three children and enjoys weekly boxing sessions for stress release.
Belinda has been with us for 8 years. She is a qualified optical mechanic and dispenser with over 23 years of experience.
After hours she is kept busy with her two children as well as her own online business.
